Mr. Boldt is an Associaate in Risk Management (ARM), a licensed nursing home administrator in the state of California (NHA#6883) and is also a licensed California insurance broker (Lic.  0F15462). Michael recently passed the California Department of Industrial Relations Worker’s Compensation Self-Insurance Administrators Exam; qualifying Mr. Boldt to act as an administrator of worker’s compensation self-insurance programs for groups and individual employers.

Experience

Michael Boldt has over 20 years of experience presenting practical solutions to important problems. 

• Mr. Boldt was a medic in the US Army and served in a combat support hospital during the first gulf war.   Michael left the Army in 1993 with the rank of sergeant.
• Michael worked at IBM as an intern while attending the University of Arizona.  Mr. Boldt worked in the testing department for IBM and wrote, executed and monitored automated scripts for testing IBMs image storage and disaster recovery systems.
• Michael worked as a business process consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Systematic Systems Consulting from 1994 through 2000.  Mr. Boldt created and implemented solutions for AT&T, Samsung, Motorola, Texas Instruments and Kubota Tractor.
• Mr. Boldt began working in the field of long term care management in 2001.  Michael worked as an assistant administrator in a long term care facility and acted as the Director of Risk Managment for a group of privately held long term care facilities.  Mr. Boldt helped establish alternative risk retention solutions for liability and workers compensation.
• Michael established Boldt Risk Management Solutions Inc in 2006 and has provided excellent risk management solutions to managers in the healthcare industry every since.

Education

Michael J. Boldt graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Business Administration for Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona in 1994.  Mr. Boldt has continuously expanded his knowledge base and skills.
