N95 Fit Test Training | January 15, 2010 | Los Angeles, CA

On January 15, 2010, 7 attendees became certified Fit Testing Trainers.  Attendees hailed from: Temple Park Convalescent Hospital, Grand Park Convalescent, Good Samaritan Hospital, The Eisenhower Nursing & Convalescent Hospital, Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation Hospital, The Elizabeth Hospice and HSN Network.

In order to gain BRMS Fit Test Trainer certification each trainee was required to pass an exam and had to demonstrate competence as both a fit test evaluator and fit tester.

In addition to fit testing certification, all participating organizations receive a sample Aerosol Transmissible Disease (ATD) program that integrates the CAHF Respiratory Protection Plan (RPP) and Nursing Home Incident Command System (NHICS).

Testimonials

"Rather than just listening to someone talk, we got to practice the fit testing.  Everyone got a chance to either fit-test or see it done at least three time.  I feel much better about making this work at my facility", DSD

"Finally, someone explained how all this applies to a Nursing Home.  Mr. Boldt was able to answer specific questions and give usefull suggestions about how to practically implement an ATD program in a long term care setting.DON
