N95 Fit Test Trainer Seminar - January 21, 2010 - Alameda
On January 21, 2010, 11 attendees became certified Fit Testing Trainers. Attendees hailed from: Lone Tree Convalecent Hospital, Timberlake-Forrest, Inc., Antioch Convalescent Hospital, Shields Nursing Home, Spring Hill Manor Rehabilitation and Convelesent Hospital, San Miquel Villa Convalescent Hospital, and Nursefinders. In order to gain BRMS Fit Test Trainer certification each trainee was required pass an exam and to demonstrate competence as both a fit test evaluator and fit tester.
In addition to fit testing certification, all participating organizations received a Sample Aerosol Transmissible Disease (ATD) program that integrates the CAHF Respiratory Protection Plan (RPP) and Nursing Home Incident Command System (NHICS).
